I am now using this memory card to record on my TX-1 Canon camera and the class 6 is that spec that makes all the difference. Make sure you spend money on the higher speed class rather than the higher capacity if you are intending to record HD Video! Also, make sure your device is SDHC compatible first before you buy because SDHC is not backwards-compatible with SD as I now know - although, most cameras out there now are High-Capacity anyway, it's worth making sure by checking the existing card in your camera. Overall, this is a very good card and gives the best of both worlds - very generous capacity coupled with excellent operating speed
